Advocacy

Salt Ponds Coalition draws upon its testing information and professional expertise to develop scientific-based opinions. It makes these opinions and the science behind them available to policy makers and advocates on behalf of the coastal environment. An example of recent success is the work taking place at Green Hill Pond. SPC presented data and urged the state DEM to take action and now a respected environmental engineering firm is studying the pond system and developing suggested remediation.
