Dick is a resident of the Ninigret Pond area and is an active boater on the ponds and in the ocean. He is also an active volunteer water tester in the SPC program. Dick was a town administrator for the town of Charlestown, RI and now, in his retirement, is active in the local art scene as a sculptor.
