Kallie Jurgens has been a resident of Charlestown since 1997. She is on the Board of Directors of the Rhode Island Shoreline Coalition, where she also serves as the Chair of External Communications. She is a marketing and learning consultant for IBM in the corporate headquarters in Armonk, NY. She discovered the area in 1986 and fell in love with its natural beauty. She now lives on the pond and says she is "in wonder each time I look at the water. It can be as tranquil as a lake and as rough as the ocean in a storm. I particularly love the fall, when cold, crisp days make the pond look even more beautiful against a glorious sky."
