Mark Bullinger has been the executive director of the Salt Ponds Coalition since early 2007 and along with the group works to protect the health and habitat value of South County’s treasured salt ponds.  Mark is a graduate of University of Connecticut and spent twenty years working in corporate marketing at IBM, H&R Block software services, TV Guide and Grolier Interactive/World Book.  Mark became active in environmental issues as a member of the Conservation Commission in Hopkinton, MA. In addition to working with the southern Rhode Island salt ponds, Mark is active as a volunteer with the Mystic Aquarium marine mammal stranding program. Mark lives with his family in Westerly.
