Sharon Frost, Board Member, has been a property owner in Quonochontaug since 1972 and moved here full time in 1997. Her background is in education. She holds an undergraduate degree from SUNY Potsdam, and has a Masters degree from St. Johns University. She taught elementary school for many years, and later was a college lecturer of Psychology and Education at Towson State University. Her belief in education, plus having a husband and sons who are avid boaters and fishermen, kindled her interest in helping to preserve our coastal environment. She has been on the SPC Board of Directors for eight years, and believes "through education and communication we can work together with the public and the governmental agencies to ensure the health of Rhode Island's greatest natural resource- our salt ponds."
