Threats to the Salt Ponds

Human activities impact the salt ponds in a variety of ways - some are clearly visible while others are subtle.  All of nature is a balance, and if that balance is shifted there are consequences.  Our salt ponds and their watershed areas have been altered over time and each activity has resulted in change to the salt pond habitat.
